With the 100 year anniversary of flight in December, this will be a toy that aspiring young pilots will enjoy finding under the tree. Never before offered, the first Aviation Headset Toy is an authorized replica of Flightcom's Denali headset.
"While attending an air show, I noticed how many kids were fascinated with flying. After the show, I wanted to get a toy to encourage my own children's interest and found that there were only model airplanes, plush toys and bomber jackets in the aviation toy category," said Lisa Reisman, developer and president of HeadsetToys.com. "I obtained licensing from Flightcom and went ahead with the toy. I guess there's a market for it because I've had orders every day since its initial offering on November 1st."
The headset is made from rugged plastic and has no small parts. It is offered for sale on www.headsettoys.com for $19.95. Domestic ground shipping is free until December 31, 2003. For more info, call 503-740-6005.
